Getting Started 

What you need to know to being your Real Estate Journey

Requirements 

The State of Florida’s Department of Business Professional Regulation (DBPR) processes applications for licensure.

​

To Apply YOU MUST:

  • Be 18 years old

  • Have a Social Security Number

  • Pass Fingerprint/Background check

  • Complete Pre-Licensing Education

  • Pass the State Exam

  • Submit an Application to the Department

  • Pay the application fee

Pre-License Course 

 

The State of Florida requires each candidate attend a 63-Hour pre-licensing course with a state approved licensing education provider. The candidate may not miss more than 8 instructional hours of the course & MUST pass the end-of-course exam with a score of 70% or better.

Virginia Wright, instructor, has been licensed in the Real Estate industry for 25 years, working as a Realtor-Broker and Instructor.   She has the knowledge to share with you and to help you on real estate endeavors.

Florida State Exam

After successful completing the pre-license course and passing the end-of-course exam you will become eligible to sit for the state examination. You must pass the state exam with a score of 75% or better. You may take the state exam as many times as needed to pass. However you will be charged each time you sit for the exam.
